We have an exciting opportunity for a Linux Software Engineer at our Maynard, MA headquarters.
As a Linux SW Engineer you will participate as a member of a small team of engineers working on the development and support of a fault tolerant version of Linux that runs on Stratus’ fault tolerant Intel architecture hardware, with a specialty on disk/storage subsystems including Linux SCSI drivers, the Linux SCSI mid-level layer, software RAID, and multi-path storage. The work will be focused on software development to keep current with the latest versions of Linux and port Stratus fault tolerant Linux to new hardware platforms.
Qualifications and Experience:
5+ years of software development with at least 2+ years in Linux/storage related software development. Ability to switch gears and work on multiple problems simultaneously. Strong communication skills essential. Ability to work well within a team environment. Linux kernel development and/or device driver development a requirement.
Leadership interest and aptitude is a plus.
Educational Background Required:
BS CS/EE required. 3or more years experience
