Job Description
|
We are currently seeking a hands on embedded system developer to work with the Linux kernel. The ideal candidate needs to be familiar with the inner workings of the linux kernel and have extensive knowledge and experience embedding linux or other embedded kernels in PC compatible hardware.
*Extensisve familiarity with low level x86 architecture (both real and protected modes).
* Device drivers, network interfaces and linux kernel memory management
* Tuning Linux kernel for size optimization
* C/C++
* Full understanding of open source license and GPL issues
* Excellent analytical, problem solving and technical leadership skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication
Desired:
Experience with 64 bit Linux and EFI
Assembler programming
Understanding of other OS (Windows, AIX, HPUX, Solaris, etc)
Experience with remote groups
Security
You will be responsible for designing device level drivers
Work closely with product management to define a technology and product strategy.
***Act as a technical spokesperson for sales and marketing strategic accounts.
