Job Description
|
Several positions available with a leader in Network Storage products.
These successful candidates will lead the design, development, unit testing and documentation of this leading Network Storage organization’s file system. They will be responsible for detailed design and implementation of components. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills are required for mentoring of Junior-level engineers as well as technical collaboration with internal teams.
Specifically, the duties include:
* Design, development and unit testing of the organization’s file system
* Provide technical leadership and mentoring to Junior Engineers
* Collaborate with internal teams on technical issues
* Write performance evaluations
Qualification and Experience Requirements:
* BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
* 7-15 years technical experience
* Minimum of 3-5 years direct experience with file system development in an enterprise class network attached storage (NAS) environment
* Distributed system knowledge necessary
* Strong C programming skills in embedded OS environment a MUST
* Experience in System Software development w/strong emphasis on file system development, storage systems development and OS internal development
* UNIX , Linux, Solaris, Microsoft
* Strong communication skills
* Strong technical writing skills

Salary Range

$100K- $140K + Possible Bonus + Possible Options + Possible Incentives
