Job Description
|
We have a newly created position in its Cambs, UK office for a Linux Kernel Engineer. This engineer will work in a tight-knit team environment on development of multithreading capacities for MIPS synthesizable cores. Additional responsibilities include participating in continuous efforts to maintain MIPS processor cores' compatibility with the Linux kernel. These efforts include debugging of newly developed synthesizable cores.
This position requires a knowledgeable, experienced software engineer with significant Linux kernel experience.
A degree-level qualification is desirable but not specifically required. Requirements include a track record of contribution to Linux code, experience with coding device drivers, strong knowledge of C, and an understanding of microprocessors at the machine level.
This position is open to E.U. citizens; however, a relocation package is not provided.
