|
As a full time employee, you will be part of an elite team of driver developers who have a strong commitment to the free software model, ensuring that the collection of uClinux drivers is as optimized as possible for certain peripherals.
You will work with our open source engineering group, to understand the requirements for general purpose analog I/O, audio I/O, Video I/O, and networking. You will set the direction, and review and direct various third parties, including external contractors for "heavy lifting" projects, such as porting MPEG2 encode to specific processor architectures.
You should have a passion for success, have the ability to think strategically, act tactically, and be able to develop collaborative working relationships, both inside the company, and externally with the open source movement, including the uClinux and Linux kernel developers.
