Job Description
|
As a full time employee, you will be part of an elite team of kernel developers who have a strong commitment to the free software model, ensuring that the uClinux kernel is optimized as possible for the Micro Signal Architecture (MSA).
You will work with our open source engineering group, to understand the requirements the hardware features that can be taken advantage of in the kernel, implement those features, and work with the kernel developers, so your submissions are accepted as part of the mainline kernel tree.
You will set the direction, and review and direct various third parties, including external contractors for "heavy lifting" projects, such as supporting SMP for multi-core devices.
You should have a passion for success, have the ability to think strategically, act tactically, and be able to develop collaborative working relationships, both inside the company, and externally with the open source movement, including the uClinux and Linux kernel developers.
